PUFFING BILLY & HEALESVILLE SANCTUARY

The world famous Puffing Billy Steam Train has been enjoyed by millions of passengers for over 100 years. Originally a train carrying timber and logs through the Dandenong Ranges, it now travels through these beautiful mountains carrying people from all over the world, both young and old, to the picturesque village of Lake Emerald and beyond. Our ‘bush’ theme continues with a visit to the very special animal sanctuary at Healesville. It is home to Australian marsupials, kangaroos, wombats, eagles and even snakes. Our visit to this scenic part of Victoria is completed with free time to explore the great shopping at Healesville township.
