Terms and Conditions

  • Charters require a $100 deposit to hold the booking date with the balance amount required 7 days prior to travel
  • Day trips $100 deposit per group organiser
  • Public day trips payment due in full per passenger to secure seat
  • Extended trips VIC $100 per passenger deposit. Interstate/International $400 per passenger deposit
Daytripper Tours requires payment in full to secure the booking
Cancellation notification provided more that 8 weeks prior to departure – 50% of cost
Cancellation notification provided less than 8 weeks of departure – full cost
Daytripper Tours requires passengers to be aware of the importance of travel insurance when travelling on any tour. We strongly advise to take out travel and cancellation insurance to cover against cancellation costs, lost or damaged luggage or costs incurred from injury or illness
If you choose not to travel with travel insurance please be aware Daytripper Tours & Charters or any of its affiliates will take no liability for any cost, loss or injury incurred while travelling with Daytripper Tours
No liability can be taken by Daytripper Tours; the Owner/Operators or any of its affiliates in case of damage to personal belongings, personal loss, theft, injury or sickness whilst participating in designated activities
Daytripper Tours can sometimes operate in remote areas and reserve the right to alter the route, itinerary or to cancel the operation if road, weather or other conditions dictate
Any personal expenses incurred by a passenger as a result of any curtailment, delay or alteration of any tour, whether caused by flooding, fire, road closure, mechanical defect or any other causes, are the responsibility of the passenger
Daytripper Tours is not liable for any act, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise of any supplier.
Daytripper Tours and/or its employees are unable to guarantee exact arrival and departure times at any stage of a tour and are not liable for any failure to make connections with any other services, or guarantee the operation of any 3rd party service
In the event of break down or other unforeseen circumstances, the operator reserves the right to substitute vehicles other than specified to ensure the continued operation of the tour.
Credit card payments may attract an additional transaction fee up to 3% of the value of total fee due and payable
You are responsible for any charges levied by suppliers in respect of extra time in the event that your booking does not run to schedule. This includes any extra charges levied where you choose to extend the duration of your booking and include charges for flight and/or traffic delays
Deposit or any other monies paid are not transferrable to another tour or date
In the event that you cancel from a multi day (extended) trip the following conditions apply:
Please see your specific multi day trip terms and conditions as they may have extra terms regarding ie: flights, accommodation cancellation fees etc
Cancellation of a booking or part thereof will incur the fees listed below. Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be made for any unused services and clients will be responsible for their travel arrangements from that point onward.
  • > 91 Days – Full Refund - Less Admin fee of $100
  • 61 days – 90 Days - 25% of Fare - Less penalties & Admin fee of $100
  • 31 days – 60 days - 50% of Fare - Less penalties & Admin fee of $100
  • within 30 days - 100% of Fare
If your booking is made through a booking agent their cancellation fees may differ to the above and will be additional to Daytripper Tours policy.
Our itinerary: may be subject to change without notice. Whilst every effort is made to adhere to the itinerary as provided, Daytripper Tours reserves the right to alter the touring and attractions as dictated by circumstances and conditions outside the company’s control.  Alterations may be made to ensure the smooth running of the tour
Every attempt will be made to ensure alterations do not adversely effect the operation of the tour. Daytripper Tours & Charters will not be held responsible for weather based cancellations or those closures made at the venue’s discretion.
Food and Beverage Consumption: Food and beverages are not to be consumed on any vehicle without prior approval. In such circumstances payment of a bond may be required to cover the risk of damage to the vehicle. Your responsibility for any damage is in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Damage to Vehicle: You are responsible for any charge levied by a supplier in respect of any damage caused to a vehicle as a direct result of your booking. You will not be responsible for payment where damage was caused by the actions of any employee of the supplier. In all cases the driver of our vehicle will have the discretion to stop the vehicle and disembark those passengers engaging in unacceptable or unruly behaviour
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited by law on any vehicle supplied by Daytripper Tours & Charters.

Any details collected from Daytripper Tours customers is required in order to provide you with our online payment service, and a high level of customer service. Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development.

All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments.

  • Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Daytripper Tours or any outside party
